Aloha! Peggy named me Maui 'cause I came to Florida from Hawaii. I don't know how it happened, but I ended up in a shelter here. They were gonna put me to sleep because I couldn't see very well and I was real weak. I've been getting healthy, though, and having treatments to my eyes to help them heal. I do have limited vision, but I get around okay after I get used to things. I've gained some much-needed weight and now weigh about 14 pounds. I'm only about 5 years old and I'd love to have my own family to spend the rest of my life with. Are you that family?
