Hi, my name is Maddie and I'd like to come home with you! I'm 5-7 years old and I weigh about 17 pounds. I came to Pekes and Pals from a shelter where they were gonna put me to sleep because I had heart worms. Can you imagine that?? I'm all well now and I'm ready for a family to love. My foster mom says I'm a talkative little girl and I'm quite expressive. Unfortunately, I have dry eye and will need daily eyedrops to maintain my vision. I'm also allergic to some stuff they put in some dry dog foods, so I'll need kibble without corn, wheat or any dyes. That's not so bad, is it? I'm kinda grumpy around children, so I think it best that I live with all adults. So how about it? Need somone to talk to?
