Hi everyone I'm Jojo. I came to Pekes and Pals quite a while ago after years of neglect and abuse. I am now able to trust people and have learned how to behave in a home. I adore snuggling on a sofa, and I love to play with people. I prefer being the only dog as I am a bit greedy for the attention people can give. I am about 4 yrs old and I weigh about 15 pounds.

This is how Jojo looked when he arrived at Pekes and Pals, after years of abuse and neglect. He's horribly allergic to fleas and his hair was falling out from flea dermatitis. He had callouses on his rump from being forced to sit on a hard surface for a long time. He was never allowed inside the house, so he didn't know how to act, and Peggy had to teach him house manners and to go potty outside. He's recovered and is now waiting to be adopted.
